Ditto X 2023: Get to know the first wave of Speakers!

Attention all artists, industry professionals and music fans. The next wave of Ditto X: Meet The Music Industry 23 speakers is here.  

Who’s speaking at Ditto X 2023? 

This year’s exciting panels are made up of a wide range of music industry names and faces, with experts in music marketing, artist management, radio, events and even established artists all making up this year’s must-see line-up. 

Let’s learn a little bit more about this year’s guests and what you can expect to take away from the biggest Ditto X event yet.

Fee Mak

BBC Radio 1Xtra - 1Xtra Breakfast with Nadia Jae, Fee Mak sits in for  FriYAY!

Host of the BBC 1Xtra Breakfast show, Fee Mak is a London-based Radio & TV Presenter from London. As a host, Fee has presented a variety of live events in arts, media and sport, including the annual Earls Court Film Festival, BBC Share Your Story, MOBOs and live in-game hosting for the London Lions.

Sheema Siddiqi

Sheema Siddiqi - Artist Partnerships, TikTok UK - UD Music

Artist Community Manager and member of the Artist Partnerships team at TikTok UK, Sheema Siddiqi has worked closely with artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Venbee, and Little Mix. Her current role includes working across major artist campaigns, day-to-day management responsibilities and helping musicians find success on TikTok. 

Sheema also works as an Artist Partnership rep for SoundOn UK - TikTok’s music distribution platform - where she has helped artists such as Chloe Adams and Casey Lowry.

Nels Hylton

BBC Radio 1 - Radio 1's Rock Show with Daniel P Carter, Nels Hylton sits in  for Dan

With over 10 years experience interviewing some of the biggest names in the music industry, Nels Hylton brings his wealth of industry knowledge to Ditto X. Current host of Radio 1’s Future Alternatives, Nels has also worked with the likes of Radio X and Scruff of the Neck throughout his career in the music industry. We look forward to hearing from him this year!

As head of the Marshall Live Agency, Stuart Vallans has worked with some of the most exciting up-and-coming artists across the globe, developing live strategies, booking tours and festival appearances, as well as representing the Marshall Group on a worldwide scale.

Jodeci Rampasard 

Music Week

Jodeci Rampasard is a Senior Manager of Music and Talent at Vevo UK. Jodeci has been an integral part of booking artists like Rema, Ella Mai, FLO, Cat Burns, Ayra Starr and Kojey Radical. 

Prior to Vevo, Jodeci worked for companies such as MTV and Link Up TV, working across campaigns for Nike, JD and BBC Radio 1 - also presenting Reprezent Radio’s Saturday breakfast show. 

Josh Robinson

Josh Robinson is an experienced music marketer with a proven track record of working with some of the biggest names in the industry. 

Josh has created content and worked on social media growth for artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher, Sam Fender, Loyle Carner, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kasabian, Miles Kane, The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club, Gerry Cinnamon, Blossoms, Tom Grennan, Craig David, The Vaccines, Jason Derulo, Mae Muller, Sundara Karma, Don Broco, Tom Odell, and many more.

Shell Zenner

BBC Radio Manchester - Shell Zenner

Shell Zenner presents and curates a weekly show on Amazing Radio and presents weekend breakfast on XS Manchester as well as regularly presenting shows on BBC Radio Manchester. 

Shell has also been part an integral part of the team over at BBC Introducing for the last five years, working with the Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Manchester teams.

Keturah Cummings

Keturah Cummings is a multi-talented entrepreneur who founded music marketing agency Forward Slash in 2019. Having worked with clients including Columbia Records, Sony, and Netflix, Keturah is also an established DJ and founder of So Future, a platform highlighting emerging Black music talent around the globe - building on her success with AllAboutGoodMusic Live in Manchester during the early 2010s.

Simon Williams

Simon Williams is the indie stalwart and author of 2022’s 'Pandamonium! How Not To Run A Record Label’. With a life-affirming story of the birth of fierce panda records and vast live event experience, Simon's music career journey has been an inspiring tale of resilience. You won’t want to miss his insightful and humorous insights into the music industry's chaos at Ditto X 23.

Black Prez

LA/Berlin-based rapper, songwriter, and actor Black Prez has performed across the globe and performed with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and many others. 

His music can also be heard on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Fast & Furious, Netflix, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Power, Empire, NFL Network, MTV, BET, HBO, and many other places.

Alex Morley

Vevo UK’s Alex Morley is a Senior Manager of Music and Talent and works closely with key independent and major label teams, booking artists for Vevo's wide variety of original content formats such as Official Live Performances, LIFT, DSCVR, and ROUNDS. 

Prior to Vevo, Alex worked in the independent music community, with roles booking artists for independent festivals and organising, coordinating and marketing music awards, international conferences, training and networking events for AIM.

Luke James Pascoe

Founder of digital music marketing agency Plug and Pattern, Luke James Pascoe has worked with over 400 artists and numerous record labels including D-Block Europe, Headie One, Arrdee, Nines, Libianca and Fireboy DML. 

Luke has had huge success breaking artists into the industry and generating awareness across social media. He has also worked alongside artists in a legal capacity, training as a barrister at BPP Law School.

Kaleem Taylor

Kaleem Taylor is a Hertfordshire R&B vocalist and songwriter known for his silky vocals. He first gained musical recognition after featuring on DJ Tchami's hit track 'Promesses' in 2013, which later charted in the UK top ten. Collaborating with acclaimed producers and sharing stages with artists such as Miguel and Boyz II Men, Kaleem has established himself as a captivating artist. His 'Surface' EP, released in 2019, has accumulated over 1.4 million streams on Spotify alone and led to sold-out shows across Europe. 

With his latest EP, 'She Knows,' Kaleem showcases his flawless vocals fused with laidback electronic/trap beats, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the R&B/Soul music scene.

Guvna B

Isaac Borquaye, otherwise known as Guvna B, is a double MOBO Award-winning rapper, author and broadcaster from London. His album, everywhere + nowhere was the UK's highest-charting non-explicit rap album in 2020 and has amassed over 30 million streams. 

On top of this, his sophomore book Unspoken: Toxic Masculinity and How I Faced the Man Within the Man (2021) became an Amazon bestseller. He has released 9 albums and is the recipient of 2 MOBO Awards and 3 Urban Music Awards. Guvna B was also the first rapper ever to top the Official Christian & Gospel Charts.

Yaw Owusu is a Liverpool-based creative consultant. He builds projects that integrate music, culture and content production that deliver long-term impact for creatives, brands, organisations and communities. Yaw believes strongly in the empowerment and platforming of under-represented voices, cultures and stories to help strengthen and bolster the art, media and culture we consume.
