The Feedback Sessions head back to Ditto X: Meet the Music Industry in 2024!

Partnering up with Amplead, we’re once again giving you the opportunity to get in-person feedback on your latest track from music industry experts. Our Feedback Sessions have proven to be super useful to artists looking to reach the next level of their careers, so read on to find out how to apply.

This year’s lineup of music pros features big names from BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radion,  Audiomack and loads more.

How to apply

To be in with a shot of landing a Feedback Session, you first need to secure your Ditto X: Meet the Music Industry 2024 ticket.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll just need to fill in all the required info on Amplead’s submissions portal to put your name in the hat.

Sam & Danni

Ditto X 2024: The Feedback Sessions Return! - Sam and Danni

Sam MacGregor & Danni Diston are leading Radio Presenters who began their career together on their University Radio Station. After winning a range of awards including “Best Entertainment Show” and Sam going on to win “Best Male Radio Presenter” at the Student Radio Awards in 2019, the pair continued to present together after graduating, landing their BBC Radio 1 debut only a year later.

In December 2020, Sam & Danni hosted Radio 1’s Life Hacks and The Official Chart: First Look as part of BBC Radio 1’s Christmas Takeover Scheme. Since then, the pair have gone on to present a wide range of shows across the BBC Radio network, resulting in them being the most used cover presenters on Radio 1 throughout 2021.

After solidifying their names as prominent leading figures on the station, September 2023 saw Sam and Danni launch a brand new BBC Radio 1 Weekend Breakfast show which broadcasts from Cardiff.


Nels Hylton

Nels is the host of Radio 1's Future Alternative shining a light on the very best in brand new Alternative and underground music from across the globe. 

With 10 years presenting experience - Nels has become one of the most trusted names in new music and one of the go to voices in the scene. 

In 2020 - Nels covered Daniel P Carter on the Radio 1 Rock Show as a part of Radio 1's Christmas Takeover before being given his new slot as the presenter of Future Alternative. He's interviewed some of the biggest names in alternative music including Enter Shikari, Kid Brunswick and Beartooth. 

He has also previously worked with Radio X hosting their overnight weekend show, is a stream host for Scruff of the Neck TV Live on Twitch, which has seen him travel up and down the country for festival coverage including appearances at The Great Escape and Y Not Festival. 

As well as Radio and TV - Nels is passionate about hosting live events, having hosted In the Round Festival at the Roundhouse and a brand new live music night for the alternative scene Upgrade LDN.


Shell Zenner

Ditto X 2024: The Feedback Sessions Return! - Shell Zenner

Shell Zenner presents and curates a weekly show on Amazing Radio and presents weekend breakfast on XS Manchester as well as regularly presenting on BBC Radio Manchester. Shell has also been part an integral part of the team over at BBC Introducing for the last five years, working with the Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Manchester teams.


Julian Emery 

Ditto X 2024: The Feedback Sessions Return! - Julian Emery

Julian is a brilliant songwriter (mainly track) and record producer specializing in pop and rock. He co-wrote and co-produced ‘Motion in the Ocean’, the #1 album by McFly which spawned three UK #1 singles including the ever popular ‘Starlgirl'. He also wrote and produced ‘Don’t Let it go to Waste’, the debut album by Matt Willis which featured the magnificent "Hey Kid". Along with regular writing partner Jim Irvin, he wrote seven songs on the debut album by Nothing But Thieves (which he also produced) including the singles “Trip Switch" (#1 on the Alternative chart in USA Feb 2016); “Graveyard Whistling” and "Ban All The Music".

The band’s second album came out in early September 2017 and entered the UK chart at #2. The set contained 6 songs written by Julian including the A listed single “Sorry”, title track “Broken Machine’, “I Am Not Made By Design” and the album opener as well. The band closed 2018 with a headline show at Alexandra Palace. The band’s third album, Moral Panic, entered the UK chart at #3 in October 2020 and features five songs written by Julian including the singles “Impossible’ (voted Record of the Year on Radio X) and “Real Love Song” (voted #2 Record of the Year on Radio X). The band have just announced a show at London’s O2 Arena for late 2021. He has written songs on all four Lissie albums including the much loved “When I’m Alone”. He has a couple of songs on the last Simple Plan record including the single “Astronaut”.

He also had cuts with Lower Than Atlantis, Gavin Degraw, Michelle Branch, Halestorm, Gabrielle Aplin. He has recently been working with Anne Marie, The Amazons (Doubt It, A list Radio 1), BLOXX (Go Out With You and 5000 Miles), One OK Rock, Airways, Chelcee Grimes, You Me At Six (Suckapunch) , Broken Hands, Sea Girls, Miles Kane, Justin Young (from the Vaccines), Callum Beattie, Sam Ryder and Gabe Coulter amongst many others. 


Felix de Jong

Felix is a Sr. Manager of Marketing & Curation at Audiomack. At Audiomack, he oversees global curation and partnerships for Audiomack Electronic, as well as marketing and brand partnerships across Europe and the UK. Some of his notable work includes partnerships with Daily Paper, GRM Daily, Soulection, and DJ Edu, as well as producing the flagship UK Content Series "Patterned" which premiered with Headie One.


Ollie Winiberg

Ditto X 2024: The Feedback Sessions Return! - Ollie Winiberg

Podcaster, drummer and host, Ollie brings over 13 years experience at the BBC to this year’s The Feeback Sessions. Having appeared regularly on BBC Music Introducing, BBC Radio One, 6 Music, 1Xtra, and the renowned BBC World Service, Ollie departed the BBC in 2021 to create the immersive “The Heavy Hooks Show,” a weekly rock & metal podcast which finds itself in the top 10% of most globally shared podcasts.
